A club you take part in.

Members share bunk rooms, meals and the jobs that keep the lodges running. Work parties are a chance to get to know the buildings and the people you’ll see again in winter. Come with family or friends, or meet people when you arrive.

Around the lodge.

There’s time for a chat by the fire, cake from the Lodge kitchen and a catch-up over dinner. On the snow, the Haensli Cup is part of the club calendar. Everyone lends a hand with a rostered duty during their stay.

Summer Membership

Walking and biking weekends.

Stay at the Chalet in Whakapapa Village or Turoa Lodge in Ohakune outside the ski season. Both are self-catered bases for walking, mountain biking and exploring the Central Plateau.
